Paso Robles Police Officers Association
Endorses Dan Dow for DA

San Luis Obispo – The Paso Robles Police Officer Association is the latest organization to endorse District Attorney Dan Dow’s re-election campaign. Dow has received a flood of support from public safety associations this month, including the Arroyo Grande POA, the Atascadero POA, and the San Luis Obispo Deputy District Attorney’s.

“District Attorney Dan Dow has served San Luis Obispo County with honesty and integrity,” said Eric Azarvand, President of the Paso Robles POA. “Dan has worked tirelessly to fight for justice — we trust him and need his continued leadership in the District Attorney’s office.”

During Dow’s tenure as DA, Dow and his team of Deputy District Attorneys have successfully achieved justice for thousands of crime victims and their families. San Luis Obispo County continues to maintain its status as one of the safest counties in California. Dow maintains that working collaboratively with the County’s police agencies is an important ingredient in his office’s success.

Dow started San Luis Obispo County’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force that has led to multiple cases investigated, charged, and jury trial convictions with life sentences for predators trafficking minors for commercial sexual exploitation. Dow has worked proactively with Paso Robles Police officers and other agencies on this important task force.

“It’s an honor to receive the support of the Paso Robles Police Officers Association and so many other public safety associations. I look forward to working collaboratively with all of them as we continue to serve the people of San Luis Obispo County and keep our communities safe,” noted Dow.

Dow was originally elected District Attorney in 2014. He is a proven prosecutor with a distinguished career that focused on prosecuting domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse crimes, including homicide where he seeks to bring justice for victims of particularly devastating crimes. Dow is also Army veteran and a bronze star recipient who served in Iraq, Korea and Kosovo.

Dan and his wife Wendy, a local small business owner and reading instructor, have two school aged children. To learn more about Dan Dow and his campaign, visit: DanDow.com.
