Supervisor Debbie Arnold Endorses Dan Dow for DA
San Luis Obispo – Supervisor and agriculture leader Debbie Arnold has endorsed Dan Dow for San Luis Obispo County District Attorney. Arnold’s family has been farming in the region for more than five generations, and as a local representative for communities such as Atascadero, California Valley, Santa Margarita, as well as portions of San Luis Obispo and Templeton, she has worked to ensure accountability within local governance and promote commonsense economic policies.
“Dan has displayed a tremendous amount of dedication to the overall safety and success of our region,” said Arnold. “His work in the military, the private sector and in the courtroom make him the best choice for District Attorney.”
As a Deputy District Attorney, Dan has focused on prosecuting domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse crimes including homicide. In addition to using his knowledge of the law and ability in the courtroom, Dow regularly speaks at Women’s Shelters and events seeking to provide financial and emotional support for local victims.
When asked about Arnold’s support, Dow said, “Supervisor Arnold is a good honest person of great integrity. I look forward to working with her and the other County Supervisors to tackle threats to the safety of our communities such as prison realignment.”
Dan Dow is a public servant, army veteran, and prosecutor dedicated to protecting victims, ensuring justice, and reducing crime in our community.
