Morro Bay Police Officers Association Endorses Dan Dow for DA

The Choice of Law Enforcement

San Luis Obispo – Candidate for District Attorney, Dan Dow has received the endorsement of the Morro Bay Police Officers Association. The decision by the Morro Bay POA now gives Dow the support of five local law enforcement associations. The other POA’s to support Dow’s campaign include, Paso Robles, Atascadero, and Arroyo Grande. He also has been endorsed by the organization representing the San Luis Obispo County Deputy District Attorneys.

“There is a reason that our organization as well as other law enforcement associations are lining up behind Dan,” said Detective Dale Cullum. “His experience in the courtroom and his ability to work with law enforcement make him the most qualified candidate in this race.”

Dow is a Veteran of the United States Army, a Major in the California Army National Guard, and a Deputy District Attorney for San Luis Obispo County, he has dedicated his life to pursuing justice both at home and overseas.

His commitment to the community goes beyond the courtroom, where he regularly speaks at Women’s Shelters and events, providing financial and emotional support to victims of the crimes he prosecutes. Dow is also proud to have played a vital role in bringing the Veterans Treatment Court to San Luis Obispo County.

Dan and his wife Wendy, a local small business owner and reading instructor, have been married for 21 years. They have two children, Chloe, age 8 and Jedidiah, age 6.
