Former Supervisor Shirley Bianchi Endorses Dow for District Attorney

“Dow is best choice for the community”

San Luis Obispo – Former San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Shirley Bianchi has endorsed Dan Dow for District Attorney.

“The District Attorney of San Luis Obispo County is not a partisan office. It is where we need a leader that is willing to make decisions about what is best for the community,” said Bianchi. “Dan Dow’s experience in the private sector, twenty years in the military, and distinguished record as a Deputy District Attorney make him the best choice for District Attorney.”

Bianchi served two terms on the Board of Supervisors after first being elected in 1998. She was recognized as a strong advocate for the county general plan process, her compassion for community members, and her outspoken approach to policy issues on the board. She has long been considered one of the leaders in the community.

“Shirley and I had a wonderful conversation about the future of San Luis Obispo County,” said Dow. “We both want a safe community where we protect the resources that we have. Those include the people and the natural resources that make San Luis Obispo such a beautiful place.”

Dow is the front-runner in the race for District Attorney. He has a diverse coalition of supporters including elected officials, law enforcement professionals, and every law enforcement organization that has endorsed in the race for District Attorney.
