Former Supervisor Harry Ovitt Endorses Dow  for District Attorney

Community Leaders Supporting Dow

San Luis Obispo – Former San Luis Obispo Supervisor Harry Ovitt has endorsed Dan Dow for District Atttorney. Ovitt adds his name to a long list of law enforcement organizations and community members supporting Dow.

“I love San Luis Obispo County. Dan Dow shares my passion for this community and has a vision for our County that reflects our values,’ said Ovitt. “He will make an excellent District Attorney.”

Ovitt served on the Board of Supervisors for 20 years and on the City of Paso Robles City Council for 11. He was President of the California State Association of Counties in 1997 and very active in the Regional Caucus of Rural Counties. In 2009 he was recognized as Rotarian of the Year.

“Harry is a true public servant. With more than 30 years in public office and a lifetime of service to this community I am honored to have his support, said Dow. “This is a big boost for my campaign in the Paso Robles area.”

Dow is the front-runner in the race for District Attorney. He has a diverse coalition of supporters including elected officials, law enforcement professionals, and every law enforcement organization that has endorsed in the race for District Attorney.
