Elected District Attorneys Support Dan Dow for Re-election

San Luis Obispo, CA – Today, District Attorney Dan Dow announced the endorsement of Stanislaus County District Attorney Birgit Fladager, in addition to other elected District Attorneys from across a broad political spectrum.

“I strongly encourage the reelection of Dan Dow for District Attorney of San Luis Obispo County,” said Birgit Fladager, District Attorney of Stanislaus County. “Dan has been an energetic and vocal leader on critical public safety issues in our statewide association over the past four years. DA Dow is clearly the only qualified candidate in this race.”

Dow has been very active on critically important statewide public safety legislative issues. He is currently on the California state-wide executive committee for the “Reducing Crime and Keeping California Safe Act of 2018.” This measure will make important reforms to improve public safety in the wake of increased crime after the passage of AB 109, Proposition 47, and proposition 57.

News of the endorsements proves that Dow is maintaining his status as a frontrunner going into the June 5th election.

Dow was originally elected District Attorney in 2014. He is a proven prosecutor with a distinguished career that focused on prosecuting domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse crimes, including homicide where he seeks to bring justice for victims of particularly devastating crimes. Dow is also Army veteran and a bronze star recipient who served in Iraq, Korea and Kosovo. Dan and his wife Wendy, a local small business owner and reading instructor, have two school aged children.
