Deputy District Attorneys’ Association Endorses Dow
The People That Know the Candidates Best
San Luis Obispo – The association that represents the Deputy District Attorneys of San Luis Obispo County has endorsed front-runner Dan Dow for District Attorney.
“When we looked at the qualifications, work experience, and ability to run the office the choice was clear,” said Association President Andy Cadena. “San Luis Obispo needs Dan Dow as District Attorney.”
In less than a month since announcing his candidacy, veteran and Deputy District Attorney Dan Dow has established early momentum in this political campaign. With close to 100 endorsements from law enforcement and local government officials Dow is setting the pace. Just last week Dow received the endorsement of the Paso Robles Police Officers Association.
“I am thankful that my colleagues looked at the experience and qualifications of the candidates and determined that I was the best choice”, said Dow. “This just makes me want to work harder.”
As a Deputy District Attorney, Dow has focused on prosecuting domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse crimes, including homicide where he seeks to bring justice for victims of particularly devastating crimes. His colleagues in the office know this and the other skills he has to offer the community as District Attorney.
“It is always difficult to make choices among co-workers, but when the future of the office was considered the decision was clear,” said Deputy District Attorney Cheryll Manley. “Dan Dow is the best choice for District Attorney. He is supremely qualified in his training and temperament to serve.”
