Atascadero Police Association Endorses Dow for DA
The Most Qualified Choice
San Luis Obispo – Deputy District Attorney Dan Dow has earned the endorsement of the Atascadero Police Association. Their support follows the recent endorsements of both the Paso Robles Police Officers Association and the Association of Deputy District Attorneys.
“Our association compared the candidates and determined that Dan Dow is the best candidate for District Attorney,” said Association President, Detective Scott Pipan.
Since announcing his candidacy, Dow’s candidacy has earned widespread support from residents, business owners, and public safety organizations in just over a month. He is an experienced Deputy District Attorney that specializes in prosecuting some of the most difficult case including domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and homicide.
“The men and women of the Atascadero Police Department do an outstanding job for the people of our area,” said Dow. “I work very closely with them now and will continue that relationship as District Attorney. We are all professionals with a job to do for the people of this community.”
After serving in the United States Army, Dow earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Hayward and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. In the Army, Dow attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey where he was trained as a Korean Linguist. Dow was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq for Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.
Dan and his wife Wendy have been married for 21 years and have two children.
