Arroyo Grande POA Endorsed Dan Dow for District Attorney

Heard from Both Candidates but Dow earns Endorsement

San Luis Obispo – In a strong majority vote, the Arroyo Grande Police Officers Association has endorsed Dan Dow for District Attorney. This POA joins Paso Robles POA, Atascadero POA, and the organization representing Deputy District Attorneys in supporting Dow.

“When law enforcement professionals had the opportunity to interview both candidates for District Attorney they made the resounding choice to support my campaign,” said Dow. “Quite frankly, I am getting the endorsements from my colleagues and the officers on the street. These are the ones I value the most.”

Dow is the clear front-runner in the race for District Attorney. He has secured early support from the law enforcement community based on his experience in working with police officers throughout the county.

This is the first time in many years that the Arroyo Grande Police Officers Association has endorsed a candidate for public office. After hearing from both candidates, they felt that Dan Dow was the clear choice and that it was important enough for them to take a firm position.

As a Deputy District Attorney, Dow has focused on prosecuting domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse crimes, including homicide where he seeks to bring justice for victims of particularly devastating crimes.
