Two Grover Beach men received sentences of more than a decade in state prison for convictions on sex crimes against children.

Scott A. San Agustin, 38, was sentenced Tuesday before San Luis Obispo Superior Court Judge Barry LaBerbera to 16 years in state prison for his no-contest plea to one count of a lewd act upon a child and one count of a forced lewd act upon a child.

The child was 6 and San Agustin was convicted for two separate acts on the same victim, said prosecutor Dan Dow.

San Agustin was accused of molesting the child in October in Grover Beach, and information about an alleged separate sex crime he committed in Oklahoma has been passed on to authorities in that state.

Another Grover Beach man, Luke Robert Anthony, 75, was sentenced Wednesday to 12 years in state prison for his guilty plea to six counts of lewd acts upon a child, with the added enhancements of substantial sexual conduct, which includes certain sex acts.

Anthony molested a child between April 2009 and March 2011 when the child was 8 and 9 years old.

Both men are required to register as sex offenders.
